Twenty 1:64 scale die-cast vehicles in an assorted set, styles vary between boxes.
Best for
A child who invents their own games with cars, and a gift that works straight out of the box without setup or supervision.
Why we picked it
Twenty die-cast vehicles at once, which is enough for the kind of play a single car doesn't support: racing, sorting, lining up, crashing, running a whole car park. They're small, hard to break, and they work on any floor without a track, so this is one of the few gifts that needs nothing else bought alongside it.

Skip it if
Skip it if the child has a particular car or type in mind, because the assortment is random and styles vary between boxes. Twenty small metal cars also spread through a house quickly, so skip it if underfoot toys are already a problem.
