Ten smooth rocks with paints, glow finishes, brushes and decorations, for a child to paint and keep.
Best for
A child who likes finishing something they can keep or give away, and an afternoon that needs filling rather than an ongoing toy.
Why we picked it
Ten smooth rocks, paints, and glow finishes, so the result is something the child made and can put on a windowsill or hand to someone. The glow element gives it a second life after dark, which is the bit most kids remember. Everything needed is in the box, so there's no separate shopping trip.

Skip it if
Skip it if you want something that gets played with over weeks, because once the ten rocks are painted the kit is done. Paint means a covered table and some supervision, so skip it too if you want a hand-it-over gift.
